The Story of the Picture:

The Picture was bought by the owner from widow of Ferenc Fiegl in 1972. Ferenc Fiegl was an art dealer who left Trieste for Budapest cause of German Occupation in 1943. Alex Rosenberg, father-in-law of Ferenc Fiegl, brought the picture from Paris to Trieste. He bought it from Dr Leffer Béla, who had bought the picture in Sweden on advice of Anshelm Schultzberg, who was the commissioner of Swedish exhibitions in Budapest.
